People keep FB friending me at work. I don’t want to be rude and not accept them as I want to have good working relationships, but I don’t want them to know about my life.

Quite a few of my colleagues have lots going on in their lives, and I don’t feel comfortable posting what I am up to. E.g. I just went on a nice holiday. All my overseas relatives and dispersed UK rellies get to see what I’m up to, and vice versa. I’m not comfortable with work colleagues seeing these.

I’ve accepted the requests, but don’t really want to be vetting everything I put up. One of my colleagues is always commenting on things I do. TBH I only use it about 1-2 times a month. It’s not like I am one of these people trying to look like I’m a Dubai jet setter.

Just restrict them all

Turn off friend requests so that people can’t ask in the first place…

I have a list of friend requests just sitting there as long as my arm. I just ignore them.

If anyone comments, I just say I keep my friends list very short.

It’s no one else’s business. You know that, right?
