I've got an hour...

My 2 year old has just gone down for a nap. The house needs cleaned/tidied, I desperately need a shower and to wash my hair but I'm also exhausted and could really do with a power nap myself before picking my elder child up from nursery at lunchtime.

What would you do - clean, wash or sleep?

Always sleep.

Sleep, always prioritise sleep, everything else can wait.

Amd then a shower if you have time. Will make you feel refreshed

Oh no!

Is there anything you can do to get a shower? That always helps me feel more human. If you locked him in the bathroom with you is there anything that would keep him busy for ten minutes? Although watching you might be fascinating if he hasn't for a while!

Wash, I don't feel ready for the day if I'm not clean and dressed. I'd have a quick shower and do some bits of housework. I love a nap but an hour isn't long enough for me.

Now that he is up you can lock him into the bathroom and he can watch you shower and wash your hair while playing, you can give the bathroom a bit of a clean while you are at it. 2 birds with one stone.

If you have any empty shampoo bottles filling them up with water and letting him squirt them down the toilet will be fun!!

He might give the skirting board a clean too if you let him or the corners where wall meets floor if tiled, they are always filthy and he might enjoy 'helping'.
