Hi all
We are currently staying in a hotel due to having a leak in our bathroom which is unsafe to use. Our home insurance told us to book a hotel and they would reimburse the costs. Does anyone know if this is normal (instead of them paying for it directly) and if so how long it should take for them to reimburse?
They have paid the first amount but I'm now waiting for over £1500, I've chased and chased and my credit card it maxed out so I cant pay for the next lot of nights. I just don't know what to do and don't know if this is just normal and I'm expected to find the money.
