What app is good to use as a shared family calendar?

Does anyone have any suggestions - like we can all just walk up to the wall calendar and add something, and all see what everyone else has added - is there similar that can be done on phones? We just seem to all be saying "wait until I get home and check the wall calendar" all the time, when being able to access a family calendar while we are out and about would be so useful.

We have a shared Google calendar - accessible for everyone and easy to set up

we just use Google calendar, works great.

We use the familywall app. Works well for us.

We can add new stuff, comment, reocurring appointments are easy to set up, colour coding, adding different family members to events, reminders, lists. It's all good!

Previously used TimeTree, don't recommend.

Im glad you asked this as I also need it.

what about something that can be accessed by blended families? So letting DP see some things, but ExH see others (mostly related to kids)

Google calendar, you can share different calendars with different people

I used cozi for a while and it was good but went glitchy so stopped. I've just set up a family Google email address, and then you can colour code entries for different people (and/or view with other Google calendars). It was quite useful as we now use the Google notes app linked to that account for shopping lists etc, and I've used the Google drive to save all important documents to the cloud. But easily accessible to anyone with log in details for the email account (so just me, husband and trusted siblings for emergencies).

Google calendar works well for us. You can set it up to email you when someone adds something, which is really useful with a teenager in the house!

I was looking for this myself, similar to the one we had on the fridge so I made one.
It only supports Apple devices, you can add all family members, all events, to do list, shopping list is synced instantly with your family.
