DH said he’ll pick something up on his way home, but don’t know what I fancy.

Need inspiration, help please MN!

Cheese on toast with sliced grilled tomatoes, the kids had a picnic tea.

@BorisJohnsonsWigGlue Stuffed tomatoes, not stuffed salmon. That would be a step too far.

I obviously needed to go to bed, apologies 😂

Absolutely boiling here today.
Am not going anywhere near the kitchen so planning to have dinner at the family pub and beer garden later.

What are you all having?

We're having chicken goujons in the air fryer with salad and wraps. Far too hot for our oven today.

Quiche with salady bits and potato salad.

Scallops with pea purée and scallion mash
Strawberries and ice cream

Bean chilli which has been in the slow cooker today. We'll have tortilla chips and avocado with it.
And there'll be enough to reheat for tomorrow.

Langoustines, homemade walnut bread, salad. Some cherries, apple and blackcurrants with a bit of cold creme fraiche with a bit of strong Stilton on the side. Maybe a glass of claret if I can see a space to down tools this evening.

Hotdogs, corn on the cob, and watermelon - if I didn't need to feed two children, it would probably just be some toast (not feeling great today)!

Dcs are having southern fried chicken fillets with garlic bread and salad. I briefly considered making chips but gave up the idea.

DH and I are having a sweet and sour jarred sauce to which I will add peppers, green beans, baby corn and tofu and serve with rice.

Last night I made up a large load of bbq chicken wings which we had with salads and garlic bread.

I am in CBA mode also.

We're going to the pub tonight - drinks in the garden first then out for dinner.

Having minced beef burritos with chimichurri salad

Fridge raid Spanish type stew. Garlic, r onion, Cajun chicken breast, chorizo, passata bunged in the oven and top with mozzarella, fresh basil and maybe couple slices of baguette for dunking

Chinese. Salt chilli squid. King prawns with ginger and spring onions. Duck pancakes. Plain rice.

Bagels, salmon, cream cheese, avocado and tomatoes. Can’t be bothered with anything that requires prep!

Glad I am not the only one cooking! Roast chicken, mash vegetables and gravy. Had salad last evening and my tolerance for it only goes to alternate days!

We had the DCs ULTIMATE favourite dinner.

It’s just chicken and mushroom pasta with red pesto and double cream to make the sauce and some fresh basil. Honestly they go mad for it 🤣 it used to be my lazy dinner at uni when I’d make a huge pot of it and eat it all week so it feels like I’ve been cooking it forever.

For pud we had ice cream cones with Jude’s cherry ice cream (again!) and chocolate sauce.

CBA today as it's so hot. We had fish fingers sandwiches and some fruit for a dessert.

I have an unopened tub of Jude’s cherry ice cream in my freezer which you’ve inspired me to open @Tisfortired. I just wish I’d learned they did chocolate sauce in time for today’s Sainsbury’s delivery!

Pasta. With a jar of antipasta veg in oil and tin of cherry tomatoes stirred in plus garlic bread

Sesame chicken stir fry

Posh sausages, mash, petite pois peas, onion gravy. Not my choice in this heat but it will be lovely.

Homemade burger on the bbq, tomato avocado salad, blackberry apple sorbet. Lovely.
