Italy, Greece or Croatia?

We have been discussing this for weeks now. Neither of us have been to any of these countries and we can’t decide which one to choose.

Which one would you choose? And where would you recommend? (Like if you say Greece would you recommend Rhodes or Kos or Crete etc) there’s just too much choice. We are a couple in our late 20s/early 30s. We like a mixture of relaxing and nice beaches and also exploring. Thank you!

Ds has been to Croatia twice and really rates it.

Another vote for Croatia here, Makarska area. Beaches, but mountains to explore. Lots of towns with old towns. Ferries to Brac/ Hvar. And the sea is soooo blue.
However, I also love the Sorrento/ Amalfi coast area of Italy for similar reasons!
Never been to Greece/ Greek islands, partly because there is so much choice 🤣

Ah that sounds amazing, thank you!

yeah that’s the trouble with Greece and Italy for us.. there’s just so much choice it’s overwhelming and I have no idea where to choose. We don’t have loads of money so usually only go away once a year or once every 2 years so I feel the pressure to choose somewhere amazing 😆

I have been to most of Italy. It’s beautiful. Suggestions would be along the amalfi coast- Sorrento is a great base. You need to pay a lot for a decedent hotel, but for the most part the 3* ones are spotlessly clean and slightly old fashioned.
Greece is wonderful- but the best bits I’ve seen have been from a boat so maybe look at sailing for something a bit different. Only stayed in Corfu on land and probably preferred Italy.
I've not been to Croatia but I have firmly put Sibenik on my wish list. Looks amazing.
