Baby toiletries/lotions/potions - what do I need and what brand!

First time parent to be and no idea what I need and what brands are good. Interested in minimal/natural as possible. I’ve had an add for kokoso come up, or Childs farm. What do I need for washing, nappy rash prevention, moisturiser etc. There’s too much choice!

Childs Farm was always alright.

I like Childs farm. Bur you really don't need much for a newborn. Their skin is so sensitive, all I used was nappy cream. I just bathed in water for the first few months.

Child’s farm is ok but a total rip off.

Kokoso coconut oil is really good for moisturising and baby massage as well as for cradle cap.

Yellow metanium is magic for nappy rash.

Congratulations!

I used childs Farm for shampoo and body wash. I had baby butter for moisturiser I think it was Palmers. I use the adult version.

I didn't use John's baby products as they make my skin react so I wouldn't use them on my baby.

For the first few months I just used water and nappy cream. Sudocream or bepanthen. Then later on used child’s farm bubble bath and then later on still child’s farm shampoo. For cradle cap we bought a little comb to use in the bath and that sorted it out much quicker than with my first.

Thanks all. I always thought the Johnson’s stuff was rather chemically and wanted something as natural as possible and agree they just need water and no bubble bath to start with.

I love the child’s farm coconut oil for me and use it on DH’s eczema
