Afternoon all
So myself, DH and DD age 15 are coming to London this Sunday for the day and staying over night.
Were getting the coach to Victoria arriving just before lunch and then making our way on foot via Piccadilly (DD has discovered Waterstones has a 4 story store there) aiming to get to our hotel near the Tate for 3pm check in. With lots of meandering/sightseeing en route.
DH will insist on making a bread heavy pack up for the coach journey so while we won't want much to eat at a minimum we will want a good coffee and maybe very good cake late lunchtime. We won't be eating until 6pm (dinner already booked).
Does anyone have nice suggestions of somewhere ideally not a chain but reasonable (London wise) and with seating? We love Italian delis and went to a Lina Store branch last time which was fab but it would be good to do somewhere different.
Then - any breakfast suggestions? Again not too spendy (we did the Wolsely last time) but good food and drink close to the Premier Inn Great Suffolk Street.
Thanks folks
