How do I prevent thrush from a swimming pool?

I'm going to a certain hotel and I know that swimming in the pool there has given me thrush previously. This doesn't happen to me with other pools.

It would be great to swim with my kids rather than sitting on the side - any ideas of things I can do to make it less likely? Put a tampon in? Vaseline on the area before swimming? Any success stories?

For various reasons we do need to go to this particular hotel!

Thanks

You know Google is your friend! It suggests: change out of your swimsuit after the pool and be sure to dry the area properly. So don't sit around in a wet suit watching your kids - change once out.

Are you sure it wasn't that you were sitting in a wet swimming costume previously that gave you thrush?

Only one particular swimming pool won't be the cause.

Do not apply Vaseline to your fanny fgs. That will give you more chance of getting thrush.

I can't see how one pool could give you thrush, surely a coincidence. Don't use a tampon if you're not on your period. Just get changed as soon as you're done swimming, and dry off thoroughly.

OP, we have a pool and when the chemicals are not correct I get thrush. As above though, change promptly and rinse with clear water, cotton knickers and no knicker time (under a long skirt, in your hotel room) should help.

Have a good holiday.

People. Yes it is this one pool, it's happened a couple of times here but not in other pools. It's not just being in a wet swimsuit come on.
Yes I have googled and obviously will rinse off.
Looking for any other suggestions please from personal experience. You can take my initial question at face value.
