Funny Story - Emily Henry - Quick sense check

Lent my kindle to my daughter [11.5] and have just discovered she's downloaded this late last night.
Before I read the riot act I wanted a quick sense check from someone who's read it on how inappropriate it is ? It's described as "Sunday Times bestselling steamy summer romance" so how inappropriate is it?

I haven’t read that one but the others by her are just pretty standard romance novels - some fairly passionate sex but not erotica.

I don’t think it’s ideal for 11.5 but she’s not going to be turned into a pervert 😉 Lots of the girls in DD’s high school have read them so perhaps she’s seen the older girls reading one?

”It’s aimed at an older audience, DD, so let’s leave it until you’re 15, shall we?”
