Looking to host a baby shower in Cardiff, but don’t know the area. Looking for somewhere for 20 people, with a kind of relaxed vibe, no games but crafts and either a catered Buffett or can get someone to deliver. So not a formal sit down afternoon tea type thing,

Are you wanting to do crafts or bring your own crafts?

There is Lark Design, they do baby shower crafting. Unsure about food options though

Or there is the Corp Yard, there is a lady called Twin Made who does craft sessions, and they have a covered outdoor area with various food vendors, as well as onside. Might be worth a look.

I do like the look of the craft parties. I’m guessing you can’t ask people to pay to come though and you’d have to pay the cost yourself? I can imagine asking people to contribute to food but not an activity?

Ooh yes of course, I didn't think of that! Some might pay, some won't. I've paid to go to an afternoon tea shower before with no quibbles etc. But aware that others won't.

What time of year is it?

Just remembered Coffi Co, they are a nice coffee chain (amazing cakes!) with a few venues. They have one in Cardiff bay, which is on a little jetty with a loceky upstairs area that is great for hiring..would imagine you can bring crafty bits etc & I would imagine they do buffets etc too. Defo worth contacting them. The bay area is lovely too
