Suspected COVID here, DP tested positive on Sat and I am few days late with symptoms.
Retired to bed at 8 pm, it’s amazing how everything can be put hold when you are ill. Usually, I don’t stop with some or other “needs doing” until 9.30.
Food - whenever I am ill or PMS, I crave carbs all day long and never put on any weight, unlike in good times when every croissant adds a pound. So, massive portion of Jersey Royals with butter for dinner tonight.
Now curl up with iPad, tea and a bowl of sultanas, and wonder why I don’t cut myself more slack when I am on top form?
