Anyone creative? Help me think of a podcast name!

A friend and I want to start a podcast. I want to caveat this with the fact we are under no illusions that it will become anything as we’re part of a fairly small fandom well start with and then branch out to wider areas. It’s mainly just for us and a few friends we’ve made along the way, although we hope a few people will listen eventually.

But we need a name.

Can anyone help me think of one?

‘The something something podcast’ but we don’t know what!!!

we thought about Fangirls but there's lots already like that!

Any more info? Like subject of the podcast?

Subject?

Do you want to use your actual names or location? Or even the subject matter ?

Some of these details would help name it.

X Fandom Podcast, with 'X' being the niche or not-so-niche subject of interest.

Thanks everyone! I didn’t name the fandom as it’s pretty outing and only the first couple of episodes will be about that fandom (the rest will be about other things we see fans of like musicals, Harry Potter, our kids, our jobs etc) so wanted to keep it more general!

If it's something in media ie film, music, books, then a reference to an object within that?
EG for fans of the 2005 Pride & Prejudice, or even for discussing any fictional characters you love to hate; 'The Excellent Boiled Potatoes Podcast'

But it is quite hard to come up with a short and snappy title, which always works best, without knowing your subject.

Have a think about what search terms your audience is likely to use. Make sure those words are in the name of your podcast. It’s no good if people can’t find you!

I think you need to be more specific about your remit. A specific fandom, sure. Fandom in general, sure. But 'our kids and our jobs' sounds like nothing at all to do with fandom, or likely to be of general interest?

I listen to a podcast by the novelist Caroline O'Donoghue sometimes. It's called 'Sentimental Garbage' ('the culture we love that society can sometimes make us feel ashamed of') and focuses on pop culture aimed at and consumed by women, often dismissed as 'sentimental garbage'. Episodes on Sex and the City, chicklit novels, Taylor Swift albums, Jane Austen adaptations etc.

I like what you did there.

If it’s a chat between friends, what about a title that’s like something one friend might say to another in conversation like “Did I tell you about…?” Or “have you heard about…?”
