Woodlice in my bathroom

That’s just it really. We’ve recently bought a house, and over the course of the past month I have seen 9 woodlice in total. 4 alive and crawling and 5 dead. All in the bathroom. Does this signal a problem? I’m dreading costly repairs :( the bathroom is quite old.

You may have a damp or leak in an area, they like wet rotten wood.

Woodlice like damp - walls and floors.

Remove the bath panel and check for any leaks.

Is the bathroom on the ground floor? If so, check the pointing of the brickwork low down in the outside walls, inside and out. Repoint any crumbly mortar.
