Third child or career?

I have two daughters who are 4 and 5.
My husband and I are both teachers. We have discussed having a third child on and off for the past year (and have always wanted three).
I went for a promotion (which starts in September) and got the job! I was so happy about and am so excited to start.
However, I am now questioning if I should have gone for it (slight imposter syndrome and very nervous) but also I really think I want that third child (and so does my husband).
Do we not have a third due to my promotion? Do we try now, but it would mean if I got pregnant straight away I wouldn't even be doing an academic year in the job?
I do not want to wait a long time as age isn't on my side, and also the girls are very close in age so I wouldn't want a gap between the second and third.
I would have only three months off (I am an expat and in the country I live you only get three months maximum).
And advice on what to do??
If only I was a man... women really can't have it all 😞

You may not want to wait for ages but at least start the new job, give it until Christmas and make a decision. You may love it and feel satisfied. I knew I'd finished at 2 kids so not a help in that regard.

@Quitelikeacatslife that is a good idea... maybe having the summer holiday off work has made me long for family time more.
