Where to buy a great pair of high waisted jeans?

Morning all,

I'm a mum who's fashion sense went out of fashion while I was pregnant/ on MAT leave (who am I kidding, it was long before that! 😂).

Anyway, I was an avid skinny jeans wearer for many years and just can't find another style that I like. I would really like to find a nice pair of slim jeans, high waisted and not wide around the ankle but not the classic skinny jean. Also needs to have some stretch because crawling on the floor with a LO just makes the knees sag otherwise!

Ideas please?

M&S Sienna sound perfect. I moved over from skinny to these and love them - high waisted, stretchy and straight leg but not baggy at all, just a bit more room from calf to ankle. They do the standard stretchy denim ones or slightly more expensive super soft, which I think are with the extra few £.

Was just coming here to say M&S too! Can’t fault their jeans and they have a huge selection of shapes. New Look also do exactly what you’re after and are very affordable.

I have two pairs of Next high waisted and they’re so comfy.

Boo boo. You can search by high waisted etc. Call me thick, but I never realised they came in a variety of low, mid, high rise until I bought some and HATED them, they were practically under my boobs! Thank god they were from Vinted.

Next, I just bought a lovely pair of high waisted straight leg jeans I'm white, they have them in blue denim too £26

Also recommend M and S sieena. I'm 5ft1 and buy the extra short. I struggle to buy the extra short sometimes (you have to buy on line for some sizes).

I've got the Harper jeans from M&S and really love them.

Sainsbury's do surprisingly excellent jeans! Always pretty high waisted.

Tesco contour. They're a black skinny jean that stretches and is high waisted.

Matalan 'Grace' straight leg, choice of 2 lengths £15. High waist with stretch. Various colours. The black ones fade to grey. Very reasonable.

Not Your Daughter’s Jeans NYDJ - not cheap but so comfy and exactly as you describe. Slim cut but not skinny, bit of stretch, high waist and available in all length/width combinations
