Best chub rub cream/stick?

Hiya! My thighs rub together (shock horror 😱) and they get quite sore in the summer. So I usually wear Snag’s chub rub shorts with dresses. They are very breathable and comfortable which I like but they are quite ‘grippy’ on fabric and when I go abroad this august I’d like to try a chub rub cream or stick instead.

I’m willing to pay for a really good quality one.

Alternatively, chub rub shorts that are in a natural, breathable fabric but more silky would be nice, if anyone knows of a pair like this?

Me and my zero thigh gap thank you.

Bumping.

Have tried chamois butt’r today but if anything it’s increased the friction!!! WTF?!!!

I tried the ‘udderly smooth’ one that’s always recommended on these threads but it didn’t work for me. Will stick to shorts.

Roll on antiperspirant works quite well.

So chefs get this, regardless of size. My DH swore by vaseline. Always had a big tub in his work bag.

theluckiest · 29/07/2024 19:23

Yep, roll-on deodorant works for me. I swear by Mitchum

GradGirl · 29/07/2024 19:24

I bought this for the first time this year, the Lanacane one, seems ok but I haven’t got anything to compare it to.

boombang · 29/07/2024 19:24

I like lanacane (sp?)

NewYearNewName2024 · 29/07/2024 19:24

Liquid talc in the baby aisle of Asda works for me, super cheap too!

TigerRag · 29/07/2024 19:25

I use vaseline. I've heard that BodyGlide works too

AnnaMagnani · 29/07/2024 19:26

Bodyglide. One stick also lasts forever.

windz · 29/07/2024 19:26

Currently using a quick swipe of my Wild deodorant as anti-chafe on my thighs. Works fine for me. One less thing to pack.

BigPussyEnergy · 29/07/2024 19:26

Ugh I’ve tried most of these and nothing works. Maybe because I’m always quite sweaty too, so it’s not just rubbing, it’s also damp.

Bodyglide. One stick also lasts forever.

Another vote for Bodyglide

I've used caldasene power and boots medicated powder and they have both worked for me

Fluffyflipflop · 29/07/2024 19:43

So frustrating!!

I think the liquid talc a PP mentioned makes more sense with my sweaty thighs.

Body glide is excellent and lasts forever.

July24MJ · 29/07/2024 20:12

Megababe or Ivyverdure - both have done me well in the hottest of holidays and closer to home!

PurpleWhirple · 29/07/2024 21:27

I use udderly smooth sometimes but generally prefer shorts to creams

Also use snag shorts but I find they make me quite warm. M&S cullote slips are much looser and great under skirts and dresses

Another vote for Bpdyglide: been using it for years and it works

Fluffyflipflop · 29/07/2024 21:37

Does the body glide work by making the skin drier or more slippery?

I actually can’t believe how much worse this chamois cream makes the chafing. It’s literally having the opposite effect. And it was expensive too!!!

Im checking out those culotte slips, thank you!

Bodyglide makes your skin slippy. Very slippy. And even if you sweat buckets it doesn't come off.

Crystalball84 · 29/07/2024 21:39

It makes you glide🤣 it is brilliant.

lovemycbf · 29/07/2024 21:48

I swear by this stuff it's so good
