DP had an infected cyst removed from his back a week ago. He was told it was deep and is having the wound packed and dressed every day and has just finished a course of antibiotics. He has asked how long he'll have to keep having it dressed but everyone is very non committal. I know this is a piece of string question-but how long does this sort of thing usually take to heal? We're supposed to be going to Yorkshire for a few days at the end of next week (very rural setting-no car) and he's booked to go sailing at the end of the following week. If he's likely to have to cancel, there are people who need to know asap. Anyone know anything about this sort of thing?
