What is the most strange or valuable item you have found and where?

I once found a gold ring when I was helping with a girl guide bring and buy sale and the owner give me £5 reward as it had accidentally been put in with costume jewellery .

Some one dumped a load of power tools in our garden. I asked all the neighbours if they had a robbery but noone had. Police weren't interested

My friend and I once found a dropped wage packet when we were kids in the 70's. My dad took it to the police station and the owner gave us £1 each for finding it.

I found a miniature 'flick knife' about 50 years ago. It is about 2 cm long (3.5 cm with blade out) with a bone handle. I've still got it somewhere.

Perhaps it belong to a leprechaun who had joined the mafia?

@leeverarch that happened to my friend and I too, we were going back to school after lunch and took it to the police station ourselves as it was a legitimate skive 😁
The owner gave us a reward too bless him.
