Why has Tommy Robinson been arrested under anti terrorism laws?

He's a Father and Husband, I believe his wife separated from him following awful threats to their children...so for their safety they seperated....If the state can arrest him, they can arrest any of us...Having watched the film about the so called waterboarding incident in a school, of a Syrian refugee child...it seems there is a massive cover up going on....the council allegedly paid 250K hush money to force teachers to sign NDAs.....on the back of the Rotherham grooming scandal this is very strange....anyone else think is state over reach and a massive cover up ?

Made plenty of sense you asked me a question that if someone serves a short sentence etc. I answered. In short a small sentence is better than no sentence on the basis of race.

Lots of people in prison are fathers and husbands. People are arrested if there is evidence they commited a crime. If that evidence is weak they aren't convicted, and get released.

Mr Yaxley-Lennon appears to be almost certainly guilty of contempt of court as he broke a court order, and may well also be guilty of incitement to violence. He's definitely a racist and deliberately fans the flames of islamophobia.

It's not the case that "If the state can arrest him, they can arrest any of us" because most of us aren't doing this kind of stuff because we aren't utter bastards.

The police don't want to make a martyr of Tommy bloody Robinson, he already has his knucklehead supporters eating out of his hand believing any old bullshit. He lied about a 15 year old Syrian boy, spreading harmful allegations that led to death threats to a child on no basis whatsoever. He was told explicitly if he aired the film he would be arrested, he did it anyway. I'm pretty sure the police knew if they arrested him it would cause a fuss but they had to do it because he broke the law

Thanks for the advice but I am educated also with veterans in family but not a competition. I do not believe all should be sent back as you claim, I do believe if someone is seeking refuge they should abide by the laws of the country they pick. If they break them laws they should be deported, not put on a list and set free to reoffend. Laws should be applied to all equally not the two tier issue we have now

The NDAs are a laughable argument. Not only was it not even at the same time it doesnt include all the teachers at that school. There are many local councils who ask teachers to sign NDAs as part of the school having a bad Ofsted report and the teacher would be asked to sign it when leaving the school and it was within 3 months if the bad ofated report. ASKED is not FORCED. If the teacher kept silent whilst they knew criminal act occurred then they would be arrested.
Talking about arrests, he was arrested when Kent police wanted to search him at the channel tunnel and he refused to allow them to search him, which is against the law. Any irony there?

I was listening to Jordan Peterson podcast recently and he came up next episode. That was a really interesting discussion and I couldn’t stop listening.
I have no idea how true anything he’s saying is but it’s a hell of a story.

If he’s lying he should write movie plots.

Either way I do feel for the teen accused. He was a child at the time and that is fact. He shouldn’t have been tried in the global public court like he was.

I did watch the silenced movie after as was so intrigued. It’s a poorly made film. Almost frantic and panicked. Very shady and budget.

I can’t tell you whether it’s true or not. I have no idea. Either way I wouldn’t be surprised if they were trying to jail him. I found it very interesting, I’m not saying Tommy Robinson is a saint probably far for it, but sorry I do believe the children that went to court to testify for him. The MS media only give us half truth and half video evidence, only this week on Tuesday one minute phone video of a police man kicking a man in the head I was appalled, had to wait till Saturday until we saw the whole incident sorry not so appalled now !! And to use the terrorism Act to arrest him is just not sitting wright with me.

The reason both the original cut and the MICE version are banned in the UK is because they repeat Yaxley-Lennon's libellous claims. Those claims have been found to be false and have resulted in racist abuse and the continued spreading of lies against the victim.
