Why has Tommy Robinson been arrested under anti terrorism laws?

He's a Father and Husband, I believe his wife separated from him following awful threats to their children...so for their safety they seperated....If the state can arrest him, they can arrest any of us...Having watched the film about the so called waterboarding incident in a school, of a Syrian refugee child...it seems there is a massive cover up going on....the council allegedly paid 250K hush money to force teachers to sign NDAs.....on the back of the Rotherham grooming scandal this is very strange....anyone else think is state over reach and a massive cover up ?

they were “forced to” because the whole school was being shut down, over a silly playground incident where a bully got what he deserved… EVERYBODY at that school lost their jobs over it. “force” was used. if you were told today that you’d be left redundant, would you sign an NDA if it ment you could afford to feed your family whilst you find other work?

That school had been RI since 2015. After the Ofsted inspection in December 2018 it was found Inadequate. They had a monitoring visit a year later in November 2019. It didn't shut until August 2020 , nearly 2 years later, and then reopened as a primary school with a new name . The actual shutting was the secondary part.

But yeah sure, the whole school shut down over a "playground " incident and EVERYBODY lost their job. Confused

@EA1 indeed he has spent time in prison and has numerous criminal convictions, for assaulting a police officer while drunk, drug possession, mortgage fraud, stalking and passport falsification. None of these offences were connected with his "political activities". He is a liar who confessed to making up false accusations that a journalist's husband was a paedophile and has admitted spreading false information about the 15 year old Syrian boy, claiming he was "set up by some lefty".

https://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/tommy-robinson-admits-he-shared-fake-news-about-muslims-attacking-boy-at-school-was-syrian-refugee-was-filmed-being-bullied-a4005301.html

His supporters on this thread appear reluctant to address these facts.

yet they've got the resources to police the Tommy Robinson's march that saw thousands turn out in protest.

And despite the incredibly heavy police presence, people still got hurt, including emergency workers.

Hell , your hero himself was convicted for assaulting a police officer (and mortgage fraud, and other assaults, and using fake documents to enter the Uk, and drug charges, and stalking). What an upstanding guy. 🥰

@Porkchop1981 welcome to mumsnet! Allow me ask you three questions:

  1. What led you to joining mumsnet?

  2. Of all the people that violent criminal Tommeh-Ten-Names has campaigned against / rabble-roused about, how many of them have been white and how many have been non-white?

  3. How much money have you donated to him and/or his causes?

NowImNotDoingIt · 29/07/2024 09:20

@Porkchop1981 why is the benchmark murder?

What about the assaults? And the stalking?

NowImNotDoingIt · 29/07/2024 09:21

And yes it was the US, sorry. I was typing fast and made a mistake.

Because his documentary is going to be completely impartial and honest, is it, @Porkchop1981? No way he'd be ignoring any evidence against him, or downplaying it, whilst amping up his own 'innocence'?
