There are suddenly insects everywhere!

My garden is filled with honey bees, bumble bees and butterflies. There are flies buzzing against my kitchen windows. I saw dragonflies and hover flies on my walk today. The flying ants were out a couple of weeks ago. The only type I haven’t seen at all so far this year are wasps.

I’m feeling less worried than a fortnight ago!

Yea I’ve seen this too! I think the terrible cold spring delayed everything for a while but now there are tons of them. Happy days

Yeh but I'm killing the flying ants that are appearing on my house.
I'll leave everything else. we've had tonnes of spiders recently

No daddy long legs so far. Now I come to think about it.

Wasps always wait till August, especially the end of August when they will be out in droves and particularly drowsy and annoying.

For the first time in many many years we had to wash dead bugs off the car after a tip.
