How would I find out where somebody lives?

I have something which I would like to pass on to somebody. I can remember the block of flats they live in but it's huge and I don't know the door number. I don't know if it would be passed on if I just sent to the building. Would it show on the electoral roll? I'm in town next week, I assume its kept in the library? Doesn't seem an option to search online. Does anybody know how? Thanks 👍🏼 😊

If they are on the open version of the electoral role then you should check with your local electoral registration office who will tell you where the local copy is held for public viewing. Details of your local electoral registration office can be found by looking here

If someone has opted out of being listed on the open version of the electoral role, you will not be able to find out their address.

We have to make an appointment now to view our electoral roll and not every one is on it as I think you can choose to have your name hidden on the public one.
