Scanning photos

I'm doing THE clear out. I'm early 60s. Like everyone, there are photos (real, not digital ones).

I see you can hire good quality photo scanners for £60 pw, which I think I'll do.

My sons aren't that bothered, yet (early/mid20s) but there are aunts, cousins etc who might be.

Did you do this? Was it a huge faff culling them, then labelling them? Do you think it was worth your while?

I use an app called photoscan. You take a picture of the photo and it saves it like a proper photo.

I use photoscan too. It is a great app and I have found the scan is sometimes better than the original.
