Why do I have this feeling that something is tickling my face?!

It feels like a tiny hair tickling my nose, or cheek! It's so irritating. It happens when I'm just drifting off to sleep. It's definitely a real feeling.

Last time I read something like this the lady had a leech up her nose.

Or it could be a random nerve that's being activated/misfired.

Are you on any medication?

Idk but I have someone poking me very slowly in my back while I'm fully awake and even talking to others.

Someone brushes past my feet first thing when I wake up. I keep my feet under the covers if I can help it

If it only happens when you're drifting off the sleep it is probably one of those sleep hallucination thingys.

Well that is horrifying and completely unexpected

Don’t think that would be likely to cause this. I just asked as some painkillers can cause a sort of tickly nose or face thing- often described as spiderwebs to the face!
