Jlo and Ben’s $68 mill house for sale (pics)

So Zillow have put up more pics from inside their house for sale. I think it’s been decorated beautifully and even though it’s ginormous, feels very homely.

Don’t think they’ll get 68 for it though

Jenny now owns the block.

For such a huge house, with huge garage….the garden is teeny tiny. I think 68 is too much, I think somewhere in the 50s

Odd post, are you expert or knowledgable on property prices/super homes in that area? To the extent you know more than their agent?

lokomoko · 27/07/2024 19:51

very beautiful but bloody massive. I realise they have staff and buckets of cash but even so it would be a headache to deal with that much stuff surely.

12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms. Why? Confused WHY 24 bathrooms?

Far too big, stupid size for just one small family, and ridiculously expensive - $68 million FFS!

As a pp said, it feels/looks like a hotel that no-one is staying in, and whilst it's nice, it's worth nowhere near $68 million IMO. That's around £52 million.

It's overpriced by about $55 million (£42 million.)

It's only worth about $13 million IMO, (About £11 million.)

Edited

You think it’s worth 3 million? 😂

Swisscave · 27/07/2024 19:52

With the amount of time I spend looking at the houses on Zillow dreaming…yes I’m an expert 😜

Also they bumped it up to 68 because they just spent millions in renovations. They paid 65 I think but it had been on the market for a long time.
If that’s the price they want….it will sit for a long time

I like it, I didn’t think I would. Disappointing kitchen for 68 million though.

I note it’s on with Mauricio’s The Agency. I guess it might turn up in next series of Buying Beverly Hills.

I haven't looked at Zillow before. What a rabbit hole of rich dreams.

If you have Netflix there’s shows about real estate agents in NYC & LA, can’t remember what they’re called at the mo though!
the LA one talks about JLo’s house

Okay @Swisscave I think you have another career path to follow with this level of knowledge

Crucible · 27/07/2024 19:56

How do we know it's Bennifer's House?

Do celebrities get a mortgage for their homes or would they just buy something like this outright?

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 27/07/2024 19:57

I just see a lot of dusting, but then I suppose they have one of those spikey dusty things on an extending pole so that would be a bit easier.
I feel more relaxed now.

QuiltedHippo · 27/07/2024 19:57

The guest house is 5 times larger than my home 😆

I’m pretty sure they paid cash but not sure with other celebs and their homes

American homes are normally moved out of by the owner and then staged by the real estate people. It's a huge business at that level. That house isn't a home, it's a lifestyle aspiration.

Nice enough but too curated for my taste.

TheHuntSyndicate · 27/07/2024 19:59

No pictures of the wig room?

CharlotteRumpling · 27/07/2024 19:59

Ooh I like it pretty much! Especially the dining room. But what's with the indoor tennis court? Also where are the bedrooms? The pool is gorgeous.

Sigh.

I'm laughing at the button that says "Request a tour as early as today 2pm". OK Zillow, I'll just call my pilot and be in the jet to LA asap.
I wonder how much it would cost just to buy the library room?!

I bet you have to be vetted to get to see it,otherwise every Tom,Dick and Harry would turn up just for a laugh.

CharlotteRumpling · 27/07/2024 20:06

Ah finally spied one of the 24 baths. They have a rug in it. Yuck!

I agree with pp on there being way too many places to sit down. Why are they constantly having a sit down? Some beautiful Persian rugs.

TokyoSushi · 27/07/2024 20:12

I absolutely love it, especially the wardrobe/hair salon set up - what a dream!

Itisjustmyopinion · 27/07/2024 20:21

I don’t think it looks homely at all, very staged which it probably is. But I couldn’t imagine a family living there at all

And the full address online? You wouldn’t see that on Rightmove. That website must be a stalkers dream

Swisscave · 27/07/2024 20:22

It’s a gated community so I’m guessing they don’t have to worry like us normals
