Thought I was being really clever, but has backfired.
Am in the process of serving my 4 month notice at work, and decided to leave based on new job pay period which is the 15th of every month, rather than the 4 weekly cycle of pay.
I leave my job on the 14th of August and start new job in new company on the 19th of August.
Checked with payroll and the payroll cycle will end on the 13th of September and then will get P45.
Will I just pay emergency tax for a month?
