So many bloody flies outside! Is there a way to get rid?

Fat bluebottle flies.

It's a very small garden.

I have dogs and pick up the poop immediately but there are so many flies. I'm sat here and they're just everywhere.

How can I get them to fuck off??

Grow plants that deter flies. If you've got dogs then you could grow catmint without being invaded by all the neighbourhood cats.

Just start with one plant, take cuttings (YouTube will show you how) it roots very easily and grows quickly I've got loads of plants now and the bees love it, no flies.

Are you washing the residual poo away as well, or just picking up the lumpy bits?

Edited

I spray down the patio daily but they mostly poo/pee on a 2m square patch of mud/grass so I can't really wash that down

I burn incense sticks in the garden by the door seems to deter them a bit

Well that's why you have the flies. Can you fence it off so they only go on the patio, or slab that area over? Anything else is covering rather than fixing the problem tbh.
