I was just wondering if any other parents of older/adult children feel the same?
I was always lucky enough to have term time work when mine were primary school ages so we spent the long summer off together. I miss those days with no reason to rush, just spending time in the garden or day trips to the beach (couldn’t afford holidays away).
This is my youngest child’s last summer holiday. She goes into Y11 in September. Her sisters are working and so am I. Reading all the threads about summer holidays is making me nostalgic lol - probably that is mixed in with my childhood memories of the long summer.
