Ramblers association- anyone joined?

I'd like to walk more, bit nervous doing it on my own. Anyone joined the ramblers association?

I went on a few walks with the ramblers but now walk with a women’s social group that I found through Facebook. I found the Ramblers tend to do more long distance walks and I prefer 5-8 miles max.
