ParentMail issue

We use ParentMail for the current dc school. Having no problems with it. Dd is off to secondary school in September and they use ParentMail too. They have sent me a link to join, but everytime I put in my dd’s DOB, it says it doesn’t recognise it on the school record and to contact the school…

Obviously I can’t contact the school right now as it’s summer holidays. Has anyone else had this issue?

Ive tried it with the I already have an account and even a brand new account and both times it’s not recognised

Perhaps you can't do it until after they start. When my dd started secondary they had to take packed lunch on the first day as they did all their fingerprints and photos on the first day.

Maybe. Thanks. I just wondered why they sent the email now if I wasn’t meant to join. The children at dd’s school get a free hot meal on their first day whilst things are sorted
