Have you ever found a four leaf clover?

I have, several times. I just spot them, they stand out to me when walking or sitting on grass.

DSis has never found one and thinks I must be really lucky but I think she just doesn't look hard enough!

Just found this one while hanging the washing out on a clothes horse!

Yes because as a child we didn't spend all day long staring at screens.

It meant we had time to stare at the lawn instead!

Yeah, I used to find them often as a child when I was making daisy chains etc. I haven’t really looked for them in a long time though.

If you found one in your garden, then you will likely find many more as you will have a clover plant with the four-leaf variety. We had a rich seam for many years in our garden, but haven’t seen any clover at all where it usually grows this year.

Having said that, I’ve certainly found them out and about on walks etc. My gran claimed to have never found one despite living in the countryside and walking dogs daily in the same fields where I regularly spotted them.

Yes, I did as a teen and within half an hour got really bad news. For some reason I linked it to the 4 leaf clover, I thought that wasn’t meant to happen and decided that for me, they were unlucky. Never went looking again!

Found one when I was about 15, camping in Germany. It didn’t bring me any luck as far as I recall. In fact my life was pretty shit in those days!

My relative finds about 10 a year while out walking. They say they just pop out to them, which doesn't happen to me!

I found one whilst sitting on the lawn in Southern France taking the call that one of my best friends had died in a horrible, unavoidable accident.

I was completely numb, found the four leaf clover and took it inside. Forgot to press it and had a mini melt-down the next morning that I hadn’t.

We used to find a lot in the lawn of a previous house. I think they are produced from the same plant which has some sort of abnormality.
