How much does your electric vehicle cost to run?

I’m due a new car (currently drive an unleaded) and am thinking about getting an EV.

I drive less than 10000 miles per year and rarely do long journeys.

I spend about £120 a month on petrol.

Those of you with EVs, How much are you spending on electricity? Has your bill gone up significantly?

I'm fortunate enough to have free charging at my work place but when we do charge at home it's relatively cheap as we have signed up to octopus energy who provide cheap charging overnight for owners of ev's. Out monthly dd hasn't gone up and we are nearly 6 months in. I now also set all my appliances (washing machine and dishwasher) to come on overnight at the time of the reduced cost so thing it's evening everything out x
