Having a bit of a nightmare with Shark and would appreciate some advice.
I bought an HZ3000UKT for £200 and really liked it, but it didn't stand up unaided and I was told this meant there was a fault (something about internal clips being broken).
I duly returned it and was going to purchase a new one (I didn't exchange it as I bought it from Argos and they were being v unhelpful), but that model had gone up £50 so after a bit more research I decided to swap to a cordless and ordered the IZ300UKT.
The cordless has just arrived and I don't like it as it feels really heavy because of the battery. This is the opposite of what I was expecting - I thought I'd be getting a really lightweight machine I could nip around with, not a cumbersome thing that hurts my wrists (I don't have any wrist issues afaik).
It turns out that the original corded vacuum wasn't actually faulty and they're not supposed to stand up.
To top it off I ordered a pet attachment that was recommended on the Shark site for this model but there's already one included with it.
So at the very least I'm going to have to return the pet hair attachment and my heart sinks at the idea of having to package up 7 billion parts again if I try to return the entire machine.
Am I using it wrong? Is it actually no heavier than the other model and I'm just imagining it? If I ask nicely will Shark send round someone to package it all up for me, bring me the model I prefer at no extra cost and make me a cup of tea?
Any thoughts much appreciated...
