I bought a washing machine from Argos and paid extra for the delivery/installation/recycling service.
First delivery day came and went, it had to be rescheduled due to them using the wrong vehicle (even though I told them there was a long driveway).
Next delivery day was over a week later. It was delivered but the crew said they couldn't install it, and another crew would be booked to do that.
Spoke to Argos to arrange that, was told it couldn't be done so they'd refund the extra and I should use it to hire someone local to install and dispose of old one.
Said I'd rather just have the whole thing refunded and machine collected. First appointment over a week away.
The refund won't happen until the machine is collected, then it will take PayPal 30 days to release the sodding money.
The machine is now sitting in my garage, taking up space.
WTF Argos?!
