I have sold something and received the email link that takes me to a balance information form which wants account owner and billing address, dob details - is that mine or the buyers?

None, it's a scam.
So don't send the item, cancel.

You don't have to do any of that when you sell something.
You just get an option to print off the label or use a digital label.
What you have is a scammer asking for personal details, details that no one needs to know to sell anything.

Did you fill all that in when you opened your vinted account?
I remember doing this.. so that you don't make more than one account.
You have to give your address and bank details to pay and recive anything you buy and sell.
I get e mails from vinted when I've sold something.

i can’t remember filling all that in - it does look genuine . Have now received message from buyer so it all looks genuine.
