I am looking to see if anyone else been in this situation and can help as the banks are being useless?
I transferred £5000 by faster payment at 6 o'clock last night to my daughter's ISA account, mine is with the bank of Scotland and my daughters Nat West. Money did not hit right away and I thought it would take overnight. Checked this morning and still not been credited.
After checking with Nat West they advised it was a fixed account and no further funds could be applied and the payment 'should' be returned to the source account which it still hasn't.
Given the amount I am mildly panicking and wonder how long this would normally take to be returned , has anyone got any help or knowledge about this? Thanks
