My strength in my arms is getting worse, it’s such an effort to brush my hair and I’m wondering if one of these might help me

Thank you everyone, a lot of options here

Might get 2 or even 3 and see which is the best

Probably not a TT though from what’s been said

This will sound mad, but while rushing out the door and couldn't find my hairbrush, I grabbed the dogs metal wide tooth comb. Its now my comb. I have shoulder length wavy/curly hair.

Re: only brushing the surface of your hair - that's how they work! You skim over the knots to brush the surface, then keep brushing, and the prongs slowly go deeper and deeper and eventually see off the tangles. It's quite counter-intuitive at first, because the traditional way to brush out tangles is to dig the bristles right into the knots and brush out. You have to do a LOT of brush strokes with a Tangle Teezer, and work from the outside in.

Disclaimer - none of our family have super-thick or curly hair, only used it on long/straight/wavy/medium-thick.
