Hi following on from my previous post, we are in Sardinia, no idea what happened but I now only have 4 x 50mg left, don't ask!

Option is to pay around £400 to see on ship doctor and get prescription through port authorities extra charge..

They say I can go to any hospital, can anyone please advise which one?

I need sertraline 50mg thanks so much

My sisters and my kids are starting to stress me out 😟 doing all I can my end, not drinking, working out and doing yoga

Thanks so much

how long left of your holiday

Can you not use one of the online doctor services? Looks like some of them will work.

Just see the onboard doctor and pay. Then claim back via insurance.

If you have PLENTY of time I’d advise to go to the nearest E&R, wait for your non urgent case to be seen (5 hrs maybe) and they will prescribe. Then nearest pharmacy to pay full price for your meds. Taxi everywhere.

At that point pay for the onboard doctor and claim on your insurance.

I don't think this will be able to be claimed on insurance. The OP forgot to take enough medication for her holiday. That is not covered by most insurance policies.

Then I’d say £400 is a bargain to not have a holiday dominated by this stress.

Hi thanks for all the advice, quick update all is well again! Bit of a palava in this heat with insurance giving me shit advise this morning sending me to the nearest hospital, telling me to sign up for temp EHIC card assuring me it would be ok but it wasn't etc Italian hospital staff v kind I must say, but couldn't help.

But I now have a pack of 30 sertraline, when taxi dropped me back in town I took my chances and went into a pharmacist, that thankfully did not close for siesta, I explained the situation, showed them my NHS app and repeat prescription of sertraline and within a minute I had a box of 30 for €6!

So for anyone ever finds themselves in this situation in Italy 🇮🇹 here you go!

Thanks all I will update my other thread too x

It cost us 100 to see the ships doctor. They have prescriptions on board
