I don't want to out myself, and I am not trying to do anything dodgy but I am in a situation where I need to get some cash without it showing as a cash withdrawal on my bank statement.
I was wondering if any supermarkets still do cash back at the tills, and if so if anyone can help me work out if the entry on my bank statement would give away the fact that I'd obtained cash- or might it look the same as if I bought only groceries?
Hope that makes sense!
Also, if anyone knows of any other ways to obtain cash but where it looks like a regular transaction on my statement e.g groceries, petrol, pet food that would help me.
Also, does anyone know of the entry on a bank statement shows the location of the supermarket? Eg if I shopped in Tesco in Newcastle, would the entry on the statement somehow have a code for the store location. I know this is the case for online Tesco shopping, but unsure about in person shopping.
