Trying to cut down on unnecessary spending as I've had a few big expenses lately. Anyone want to join for accountability/ motivation?

Day 1: no spend day today. Went to the gym, had packed lunch at work, then a long walk in the sunshine.
Hoping for another NSD tomorrow.

We are in the process of organising a garage sale DC 10 & 12 are going to make posters and leaflets to distribute locally they have lots of stuff in good condition but have grown out of so it is our mission to make it a project and gain some cash at the same time!

Ah brilliant @Purplelimesoda we are doing a car boot this week to clear the crap and raise some funds for fun spends.

Feeling very pleased with myself as we've just been out blackberry picking locally, just on the lanes near us so £0. Filled a 2 litre ice cream tub so we'll make a crumble later 😋

We bb pick. We don't always have a crumble, we put them on porridge or just eat them with some cream, Ice cream.

We rate local villages. We just pick one on the map and go there. We walk around and peruse the local shops (if there are any), church etc and usually have a drink in a coffee shop (so not spend free, but it's the bribe to get DS13 there). At the end we all give it a score out of 10 and we have a running ranking of all the ones we've been to.

Probably works best in an area like the SW awash with villages.

Ah I like that!
We have done similar at Christmas ranking Christmas lights, and when the children were smaller we used to go to different playgrounds and rank them

We will do a chip walk next week. Walk to local chippy, buy chips, eat them in the park. Causes much excitement 😄
