How to print out a thread?

I've recently had a lot of support on a thread. I'd like to save it (as a pdf? I am not tech literate!) & / or print it. Can anyone explain how I do this please (in early learning type steps 😁) thanks

@medianewbie just above your bubble of writing the word share to the right, press that it gives you options to email /WhatsApp . Could you email yourself & go from there ?

As @Wahine24 has said, you may be able to click the dots near the top right to then ‘share’

Or if you are on an iPhone in safari you could click the ‘box with an arrow’ as an alternative ‘share’

With the first I could ‘share’ to one of my printers (an HP) but not to my other Canon printer

With the latter I can ‘print’ to my HP or ‘share’ to my Canons print app

Copy it all down into a notebook.
Or just bookmark the thread on your phone like a normal person in 2024.
No printer required.

try printing, and then "print to pdf"

bookmark wont be good if the thread is deleted for any reason

Are you viewing on a phone or a computer?

On a computer, I would right-click somewhere on the page, and choose "Print". You can then choose a printer, portrait vs landscape, colour or black and white etc.

If it seems like it's going to take up loads of pages (it says how many it should take in the print preview screen) I would do this instead:

Select all the text that you want to save, by clicking at the start of the text, dragging your mouse to the end and then only releasing the mouse at the end of this (if that makes sense)

That should "highlight" the text probably in blue. Right-click and choose "Copy".

Open up a word-processing program, like Word, Wordpad, or even Notepad.

Right-click, choose "Paste".

Repeat for any more text that you want to save from the thread.

In the program's menu (probably under File) there should be an option to Print. This will take up less pages as you won't be printing all the adverts etc.
