On a telephone conversation, the recruiter told me I got the offer.

I gave a recruiter my job acceptance but was told by friends that I was too blunt by answering 'no' to yes/no questions without engaging in small talk. They also said I shouldn't have mentioned that I already handed in my notice, as it might imply issues with my previous job. I should have just said '4 weeks' when she asked how long my notice period is.

I think you need to find a group of friends who say “congratulations!” and then help you celebrate!! They sound jealous.

If you’ve been offered the job then clearly you’ve done nothing all that badly wrong in the interview.
