Hello has anyone recently flown easyJet and used a trunki? I’m wondering if they charge for them to be used as hand luggage before I go ahead and buy one

Not related to easyjet but i really wouldn't get a trunki, when you pull them the child is swinging wildly behind you, they are difficult to open on the plane/store stuff because of where the join is. If you end up carrying the child they are awful to carry along with your other stuff. Your child will love it and refuse to allow you to keep it in the attic so you will be falling over it in the house forever more. The strap is annoying and impractial.

I want to get rid of ours but DC are obsessed with them. I fantasize about making a trunki bonfire so i can send them back to the hell they came from 🤣🤣

We had them years ago for our older kids and found them so annoying 😂 but I’ve seen a couple on vinted really cheap and would work out cheaper for us than paying to add on bags, if the trunkis are free. We have a few trips coming up over the next year so wondering if it’s worth buying them and hating them, if it saves me money in long run.

They should be banned, I love the idea of a trunki bonfire!

We had one op so not having a go's but it didn't come home with us.

From memory they are just over the easy jet size unless things have changed since then, I'm going back a few years though.

EasyJet have said this but I’m unsure if we need to pay or if it’s free?

A trunk is none of those things. What size do you have?

I’ve shared the wrong screenshot I’ve just realised. Apologies- nightshift during the school holidays and I’m hanging on by a thread at this stage.

We took a trunki - no costs just counts as their hand luggage
