I'm suffering... any top tips for relieving the itch please? I have no canesten in the house. I'm a single parent and can't even head to the 24 hr Tesco until tomorrow :(
Also tips welcome keeping it at bay when it's a fairly regular occurrence around ovulation?

Full fat plain yogurt. It actually does work. I use a calpol syringe.

Wear a pad!

Washing area with a salty water solution, yogurt or applying a cold / ice pack (keep pads in freezer) to the area

Take an antihistamine! It really helps me until treatment works.

Manuka honey works well.

I'm a long-term chronic sufferer. Currently taking Apple Cider Vinegar tablets which are supposed to stave it off. I second those saying live yoghurt. Also tea tree oil on a tampon. And try drinking live drinks, like kefir and kombucha. I hope it clears up soon. It's torture.

Coconut oil is supposed to help.

Wash lots. Loose knickers (no knickers seems to not help). Try not to itch. Also work out whether it is Thrush or Bacterial Vaginosis, they can present themselves the same. I suffered with thrush before I had my kids (not dreadfully, but often enough to know it is a thing) never since, but have had BV since a few times.

Thank you everyone.

I eventually fell asleep without being too itchy. Who'd have thought natural yoghurt would have had such benefits.
Needless say the kids and I were in Tesco at 7am this morning for canesten. An antihistamine has also done a great job at easing the itching for now 🙌 while I wait for the pessary to work 😀
