Jumblebum · 22/07/2024 17:59

Just wondering if anyone who preordered an album to get a presale code has received their email yet. Supposed to get them today. In fairness it does say before 7pm but I just want to know if i should start to get worried.

minniemooblue · 22/07/2024 22:07

I got mine at 18.54pm.

Jumblebum · 22/07/2024 22:18

The email came at 5 to 7! Phew.

Is it too late to enter a pre-sale? To get a code?

Yes. Presale tickets go on sale at 10 tomorrow. Are you an O2 customer. They are doing a priority sale tomorrow too.

Did anyone manage to get tickets? I was ready as soon as the sale opened and bang on 10am I was placed at almost 17000 in the queue. For a venue that has a 14500 capacity! What's the point of giving out so many presale access codes. And that was just with the album sale. There were also OVO presale, O2 presale amongst others. It doesn't really make much sense.

Suffice to say I got kicked out the queue when it was "my turn". 😁🤣

I had 13000 in front of me and didn't get anything. I even tried for the tickets priced at £234 but ever time I put them in my basket to check out it said not available.
I'm just hoping she adds another date in London!

TotalDramarama24 · 23/07/2024 12:35

I also got kicked out of the album release queue when it was my turn, rejoined the artist presale queue and also got kicked out 😂. I wonder how many tickets they release for presale and how many are saved for the general sale. I believe the O2 capacity is 60,000 but there were over 50,000 in the artist presale queue!

I won't try to get tickets anymore, luckily my DD wasn't too bothered about missing out.

That's absolutely mad that there were tickets priced at £234 for Sabrina Carpenter 😮

SwimmingFree · 23/07/2024 17:20

I got tickets today luckily. I think the trick is to get in the waiting room a while before 10am. I had 4000 in front of me when I got access to the queue and got tickets for Glasgow. Or maybe Glasgow was less popular.

Try general sale on Friday, they'll definitely still have some to sell. Good luck

Jumblebum · 23/07/2024 18:33

I followed the link from my email at about 9 and literally watched the countdown until 10 clicked on the queue button when it appeared and ended up 16000th in the queue. There wasn't a waiting room for me. I can get in now but there is no fucking way I'm spending over 250 quid per ticket on a girl who's had like two hit songs. The presale and dynamic pricing are a complete scam. I really wish people would just say nope...not paying it.

@SwimmingFree how much were your tickets if you don't mind.

TotalDramarama24 · 23/07/2024 18:49

There's still loads of good seats in Manchester for about £97 but I'm not dragging to Manchester on a random Thursday in term time or paying that much for Sabrina Carpenter. It's so wrong that this was dynamic pricing too.

weebarra · 23/07/2024 18:52

I ended up 14,000th in the queue for Glasgow and the only tickets left were £260.
Bonkers! I didn't get them, sorry DD!

Liv999 · 23/07/2024 19:27

I only managed to get Platinum tickets for Dublin with the artist presale code, couldnt get anything else, was almost 20000 in the queue, seats are crap too but my DD loves her, she's only doing one show here so god help anyone looking for tickets on general sale on Friday

SwimmingFree · 23/07/2024 21:30

Sorry @Jumblebum I hadn't realised you'd been on so early. I totally agree the pricing for every one of these gigs nowadays is ridiculous. Almost needed a mortgage for my Eras Tour ones! I was lucky this time and got the £93 ones.

It's crap though, I spent my entire teens going to gigs in the 90s but there's no way my daughters could go to the same number with the way they price them now.

Jumblebum · 24/07/2024 00:01

I know...me too. Gigs and festivals were my whole life as a teen and early 20s. It's so sad. Even 9/10 years ago tickets were much more reasonable. I'm sure tickets to One Direction were about 40 quid. It's just nonsense and something has to change. Live music should not be only accessible to the very rich. Any affordable love music tends to be in venues that are over 18 so my music loving kid can't go.

I didn't get anywhere at 10am. I was in the waiting room the second it opened but was 16000 ish in the queue so I gave up. I tried again in my break at 1pm and kept refreshing and managed to get two standing for £90. I wonder if they were drip feeding them rather than putting them all on sale at 10am?
Hopefully she'll add more dates if the demand is there.

AgnesNaismith · 25/07/2024 15:38

I managed to get some £60 floor tickets through the LiveNation sale this morning, I had 4 computers open in different waiting rooms (artist pre-sale, venue pre-sale, LiveNation pre-sale and 02 presale)!! Managed to get one with the album pre-sale code in the middle of the night two nights age (but needed 4 so had to fight for the others!!).

It is definitely worth checking back, I think they are cancelling those they think are bots and random tickets appear here and there!

minniemooblue · 26/07/2024 10:43

I went back into the queue for general sale at 10am today. 18k in front of me!

minniemooblue · 26/07/2024 11:02

Got through and all that's left are VIP standing tickets for £359!! Even if I was willing to pay that I can't as you have to be over 16 to be in the standing area!!

Gorgonemilezola · 26/07/2024 11:07

Colleague of DH's has just sent his team a screenshot of his order, £338.15 standing tickets - that's EACH , and I think Glasgow.

Fucking ridiculous - needless to say colleague binned the tickets off. I had no idea who she is but she's obviously got stonking PR.

OneFrenchEgg · 26/07/2024 12:07

I got some through the o2 presale but they were literally increasing in price in front of me. Spent £220 for two.
