...doing housework/cleaning. It's my way of meditating.

I don't like gardening. I love nature, love plants, I just don't like having to deal with them. I've tried to enjoy it and I just can't get there.

I like gardening but can’t keep up with the maintenance. Good thing the little DCs like watering, although they get more water on themselves than the plants.

I quite enjoy cooking but really don’t like meal planning. I prefer to be spontaneous!

Hoovering. It’s satisfying.

Washing up. The hot water is soothing.

Mowing the lawn. Instant gratification.

Eating.😋

Peeling and chopping veg. Love it.

Putting the clean dishes away. HATE it. Also cleaning the bathroom.

The smell of sweaty socks

I love folding the clean clothes into neat little piles.

I hate putting said piles away into wardrobes/drawers. More often that I care to admit, the piles get left and returned to the basket for me to fold again the following day.

I like putting the nice fresh smelling clean washing away……

Matching socks. I almost sobbed with pleasure yesterday when a match was found for a long timer, its said farewell to the singles in the bag and is back into the system!

Not having to do any household chores because I'm an adult and the decider.

Haven't hoovered in about two months

I clean a lot of glass partitions, doors, mirrors at work ( I am a cleaner in a pharmaceutical/ sterile premises).
We use Isopropyl Alcohol Spray ( available on Amazon, but quite possibly elsewhere too) and a clean dry microfibre cloth. Perfect results every time with minimum effort as the spray just evaporates and leaves sparkling glass.

We've met on threads like this before, haven't we? I also love matching up odd socks.
