Changing Premier Inn reservation due to price drop

I have booked a couple of rooms in London for a break this summer and, annoyingly, the rooms now seem to cost 30 pounds less! I have the flexi rate so in theory I could rebuy them at the new rate and then cancel the more expensive rooms - but I dont have enough credit available to do this.... Is it possible to get Premier Inn just to give me the difference?? I have phoned the hotel but they never answer.... Has anyone done this?

If there are rooms are available to book then why not cancel your booking first?

I am just scared that in the meantime the rooms will be gone or the price will have gone up!

Could you get someone else to book them in your name then cancel yours and send them the money
