Good evening North east Mumsnetters.
My wife and I an shortly to move to the North east and we would appreciate any
local advice/hidden gems to look out for such as fun things to do/ markets/local farm shops etc. We will be in the Durham/Bishop Auckland area. My wife grew up in Durham but has not lived there for more than 20 years. We have done some of the tourist things and know our way around quite well and will bring ouur car. We are moving in with family so will have pointers for the things such as GP surgery, church etc but its local recommendations we are wanting if anyone would be able to share. Thank you.
