My hairdresser is so cute......

I started going to a hairdresser about two years ago. I thought he was cute and funny and I liked his personality. I do like him but I know he's also gay. I don't have any romantic feelings for him but I would love to be friends with him. I love his vibe and energy and I would love to have him in my life.

I am just after discovering a mutual connection. It's an aunt and uncle of mine. I reckon they may know each other due to living in the same town. Maybe they are neighbours or living in the same estate. I don't know.

Is there any way I can utilise this to try and get closer to my hairdresser? Or how can I randomly drop my aunt and uncle into a conversation to my hairdresser at my next appointment. I do know the town he lives in because he said it before during a conversation during one of my appointments. If he mentions his town again do I ask him if he knows A&B (my aunt and uncle names).

I would do anything to try and get more of him in my life and for our paths to cross outside of hair appointments.

Have you posted about your hairdresser before? It sounds extremely familiar.

Yes, to say how cute he is. However this thread is different. I discovered a mutual connection that I would love to utilise if I can.

Seems a bit overkill. Can’t you just ask him if he fancies a drink? If he says no, then you have your answer. Are you thinking he will say no, but are going to try and coerce him with family pressure?

You think they may live close to each other? How? Did you stalk his social media and recognise houses?

I think it is best if you leave him alone. I often meet people who I think I'd like to be friends with. I either suggest a meet up or leave them well alone.

Imagine some man you met through work kept trying to meet you by "accident" you would not be impressed and would probably find it troubling .
Let him do his job, if you can't get a new hairdresser .

When you see him he is operating via his work persona, the purpose of which is to earn a living and this involves flattering the client. I think you are seeing what you want to see.
